On Saturday 24th March the Simply The Best Events Team joined up with Heart FM Surrey And Sussex Breakfast show hosts Jack The Lad, Kaz Carter and Tom Evans along with Drive Time Host Tony Shepard to host the First Heart Radio Have A Heart Appeal for Childline's It's A Knockout and Family Fun Day at Victoria Park Heyward’s Heath.
6 Teams took part in a hugely successful, action packed and spectator friendly It's A Knockout, which saw the Radio presenters captain teams with two other teams being filled by the highest bidders for charity donations which were A&A Cleaning Services and Clean Computing.
A Huge Congratulations to A&A Cleaning Services who were crowned 2012 Have a Heart Appeal It's A Knockout CHAMPIONS.
With the sun beaming and the ice cream flowing the day was a massive success and raised a staggering £11,561 for Childline. So a HUGE thank you to all those who came down to show their support and indulged themselves in the sun and took part in the side attractions to help raise such an amazing total.
Simply The Best Events would like to say a huge thank you to Heart Radios 'Jack The Lad' for making the day possible and such a success and let’s hope it happens again next year and you fully fit to take part. Good Luck with the Brighton Marathon also.
